In case you don’t know it by now, in GUAG house, we love coffee. Like caffeine straight to the veins kind of love. However, it is so hard to find coffee drinks that taste great without being loaded with sugar and extra calories. These are just three of our favorites from Starbucks. Keep in mind, these babies are pretty strong and lean a little more towards black coffee, than say, a mocha latte with extra whip. So they can be kinda bitter. You’ve been warned!
Café Misto
Ingredients:
- ½ of cup of Drip Coffee (you can choose light, medium or dark, based on what your preference).
- ½ of 2% Steamed milk
My addiction in the cold MN months. It’s a great warm drink. I usually go with the dark roast, because it goes well with the milk flavor. I never drink milk, so it’s good to get some diary in.
Double Shot
- 2 presso Shots (depending on size you order)
- Cream
HK’S Drink
Ingredients :
- 3 Shots of Espresso
- 3 Pumps of Sugar-Free Mocha
- Heavy Cream
- Blended
We can’t take credit for this. A family friend actually came up with this drink after being diagnosed with diabetes. It is very low in carbs while still tasting like a decadent treat. Low in calories? Not really. But does it satisfy and keep you full? Definitely.
